Last Updated: June 7, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Cambridge Games. This Privacy Policy applies to all virtual reality, mixed reality, and mobile applications (our “Games”) developed by Cambridge Games, an individual developer (Cameron Schmidt), as well as our informational website, cgdev.info
(our “Website”).
This policy describes how we handle information and is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of our data practices. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it. By using our Games or visiting our Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Data We Collect and How We Use It (VRC.Quest.Privacy.2 & 3)
We have designed our Games to be as privacy-friendly as possible. We do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, physical address, or direct email address through our Games.
However, to provide, maintain, and improve our Games, we utilize standard tools from trusted industry partners. Here is a breakdown of the data that may be collected by these services and why:
a. Unity Analytics: Our Games are built using the Unity engine, which may use Unity Analytics to provide us with anonymized or pseudonymous data about gameplay. This helps us improve game performance and the user experience. This data may include:
- What is collected: Gameplay data (such as session length, player progression, and in-game events), performance and crash reports, a country-level approximation of your location, and device information (such as operating system, device model, and language).
- Why it’s collected: To identify and fix bugs, to understand how players interact with our Games, and to make informed decisions on how to improve our content and features.
b. Unity Ads and In-App Purchases (IAP): In the future, our Games may include advertisements from Unity Ads or offer in-app purchases processed by Unity IAP.
- What is collected: To support these features, Unity may collect your device’s advertising identifier (e.g., GAID or IDFA) and other device information. If you make a purchase, transaction data will be processed.
- Why it’s collected: To show you relevant advertisements, to track ad performance, and to securely process and validate your in-app purchases. We do not see or store your payment information, such as credit card details.
c. Meta Platform Services: Future Games may utilize Meta’s platform services to enable features like multiplayer, leaderboards, achievements, or displaying your Meta username.
- What is collected: When you use these features, your Meta account information (such as your username and profile) may be shared and visible to other players within the game.
- Why it’s collected: To provide a social and connected experience. Your interaction with these features is governed by Meta’s own Privacy Policy.

4. Your Rights and How to Request Data Deletion (VRC.Quest.Privacy.4)
You have the right to request the deletion of the user data that has been collected about you through our third-party services like Unity Analytics.
To request the deletion of your data, please follow these steps:
- Locate your device’s advertising identifier. For Quest devices, this is the Google Advertising ID (GAID). You can typically find this in your device’s settings.
- Send an email to business@cgdev.info with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
- In the body of the email, please include your advertising identifier.
Upon receiving your request, we will forward it to our third-party service providers (e.g., Unity) to process the deletion of data associated with that identifier. Please note that we cannot delete data held by platform providers like Meta, which you must manage through your Meta account settings.
5. Children’s Privacy
